Iron Horse

Created by Abbott Pattison, the large horse statue once stood at Reed Hall at the University of Georgia but was later moved to a farm in Watkinsville. Oconee County is known for its beautiful nature trails, as well as the Oconee River. Oconee Joe is a local legend that guides canoeing, kayaking, hiking and camping excursions. Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF)

The OCAF is an art gallery that showcases a variety of local, regional and national artists, as well as the largest pottery show in the state. They host indoor and outdoor festivities all year including Summer Art Camp for kids ages 8-12 and the 2021 OCAF Members’ Show.

Washington Farms

Located in nearby Bogart, Washington Farms is the perfect destination for the whole family with varying events throughout the year. Following its now-concluded strawberry-picking season, the farm is gearing up for Fall on the Farm with a petting zoo, a cow train, corn maze, pumpkin patch and more.

Cumming

The Indian Seats Trail offers long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and visitors can also rent the amphitheater, classroom or picnic pavilions for events and gatherings. Warbington Farms

Locally owned for more than 35 years, Warbington Farms is fun for the whole family. Hosting several events throughout the year, the farm just wrapped its summer strawberry picking season and is preparing its fields for the fall season to include an enormous pumpkin patch and corn maze.
